What should I wear?
Cocktail attire is suggested; think spring wedding!
What should I bring with me to the event?
Your favorite internet-ready mobile device (fully charged!) for bidding on silent auction items. You may want to bring cash for the bar or some of our small games of chance and raffles.
What time should I arrive?
The event begins at 7:00 pm.
What food will be served at the event?
This year’s event will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres that will be both passed and at stations throughout the event space. Dessert will also be served. Specific menu details will be coming soon!
If I can't attend the event, is there a way that I can bid?
Yes, you can register for a bidder number as a virtual bidder through our virtual bidder registration page (registration opens March 1).
Do I need to bring cash?
Each guest will receive one drink ticket for the evening (VIP guests will receive two drink tickets). There will be a cash bar available throughout the evening. Some guests prefer to use cash for some of our raffles or small games of chance available that evening. If you use valet parking, you may want to have some cash for a tip.
Where do I park?
Valet parking will be available; parking on your own is also an option.
Do I have to take my prizes home that night?
Yes, it is your responsibility to take home any prizes won that evening, unless other arrangements have been made. Please consider previewing the auction items (will be available mid-March) to plan accordingly for the transportation of large prizes you hope to win.
Where is Sewickley Heights Golf Club located?
The Club is located at 126 Backbone Road, Sewickley, PA 15143.
The Club offers the following directions:
From: I-79 Exit #68 (Mt. Nebo Exit): Go west onto Blackburn Road. At stop sign turn right onto Fern Hollow Road. Go 1.6 miles to Little Sewickley Creek Road and turn left. Go 0.8 miles to Backbone Road and turn right. The entrance to the club is on the left 1.2 miles from the turn off of Little Sewickley Creek Road.
From: I-79, Exit #66 (Glenfield Exit): Turn left onto Dear Run at exit and continue on Merriman Road. Go 2.3 miles to stop sign at Glen Mitchell Road and turn right. Go to stop sign at Scaife Road and turn left. Continue to right at Waterworks Road and continue to stop sign at junction of Fern Hollow and Blackburn Roads and turn left. Go 1.6 miles to Little Sewickley Creek Road & turn left. Go 0.8 miles to Backbone Road and turn right. The entrance to the Club is on the left 1.2 miles from the turn off of Little Sewickley Creek Road.
From: I-79, Exit #73 (Wexford Exit): Go west on the Orange Belt (Wexford-Bayne). Go 1.7 miles to a stop sign, then stay on the Orange Belt and continue another .6 miles. The Orange Belt makes a sharp left over a small one-lane bridge. Continue on the Orange Belt for another 1.7 miles. At Camp Meeting Road, turn right onto Camp Meeting Road. This takes you off the Orange Belt. Go 1.2 miles to a stop sign and turn left. Go .5 miles, then turn left onto Backbone Road. The entrance to the Club is on the right.
From: I-79, Exit #66 (Sewickley Exit): Go West on Route 65 toward Sewickley (Ohio River Boulevard). Go past the Business District of Sewickley for an additional 2 miles. Go past Quaker Village Shopping Center. At the next light, turn right onto Ferry Street. Go to the second stop sign and turn right onto Beaver Street. Go 50 yards and turn left onto Camp Meeting Road. Go 3-l/4 miles up Camp Meeting Road and turn right onto Backbone Road. Backbone Road goes through the golf course. The entrance to the Club is on the right.
From: Airport: Exit Airport. Follow signs to Beaver - 1st Exit - Moon Clinton Road (60 South). Follow 60 South to Beers School Road (old Airport is on right) make left onto University Drive. Follow 4-5 miles to Sewickley Bridge. Cross bridge, make left onto Route 65 North and proceed as in directions for I-79 (Sewickley Exit).
From: Coraopolis Area: Cross the Sewickley Bridge from Coraopolis to Sewickley. Go left at the first traffic light onto Route 65 West (Ohio River Boulevard) and proceed as in directions for I-79 (Sewickley Exit).
