Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?
Cocktail attire is suggested; this year we invite guests to consider our garden party theme when choosing attire - hats are welcome!

What should I bring with me to the event?
Your favorite internet-ready mobile device (fully charged!) for bidding on silent auction items.  You may want to bring cash for the bar or some of our small games of chance and raffles.

What food will be served at the event?

Frisee and Wild Greens with Grilled Artichokes, Pumpkin Seeds, and Tomato Honey Vinaigrette

Lemon Cream Chicken and Dry Aged Beef Sliced with Rosemary Au Jus

Roasted Vegetables and Garlic Roasted Red Skin Potatoes

Dessert is provided by The Ulitmate Pastry Shop

If I can't attend the event, is there a way that I can bid?
Yes, you can register for a bidder number as a virtual bidder through our virtual bidder registration page (registration opens March 1).

Do I need to bring cash?
After 6:30 pm the bar is cash only. There will also be several small games of chance/raffles where cash could be used. (If you do not have cash for the small games of chance or raffles, you can charge your ticket or entry to the credit card associated with your bidder number.)

Where do I park?
When you arrive at the Pittsburgh International Airport follow signs for Long-Term parking and take a ticket.  Park anywhere along the building or follow signs for the Hyatt and park in the hotel parking lot. If you enter the airport via the moving walkways: follow the moving walkways to their end, enter the hotel through the lobby, continue down the hallway and make a left.  If you park in the hotel parking lot: enter the Hyatt, continue left and turn right at the end of the hall.

How much will parking cost?
The cost of parking is included in the price of your reservation for the event.  You will receive a voucher when you register that can be used when you exit the parking lot.

Do I have to take my prizes home that night?
Yes, it is your responsibilty to take home any prizes won that evening, unless other arrangements have been made.  Please consider previewing the auction items (will be available mid-March) to plan accordingly for the transportation of large prizes you hope to win.

Can I stay at the hotel?
You are welcome to make reservations at the Hyatt if you wish. There is no block of rooms or discount associated with our event.
